CRF Services Ltd, all aspects of construction

Projects and workmanship

A clear look at the finish and scale of work CRF Services Ltd is set up to deliver.

Work sized for one tradesman and a van

CRF Services Ltd is a one man band, so the projects it takes on are right-sized: jobs that one skilled tradesman can plan, carry out and finish properly. That means bathrooms, single rooms, gardens and practical repairs rather than extensions or whole house builds. Below are the four types of job that make up most of the work, with what each one usually involves.

Completed compact bathroom renovation

Compact bathroom transformation

A bright, practical shower room with crisp tiling, glass enclosure and useful vanity storage.

A job like this starts with stripping the old suite and tiles back to the walls, then setting the pipework for the new layout. Walls in the shower area are boarded and waterproofed before tiling, so the finish lasts. The tray, screen, basin and toilet go in once the tiles have set, and everything is sealed and tested before the room is handed back.

Bathroom renovations
Fitted oak internal doors with wall panelling

Internal door fitting

Careful adjustment and fitting for a solid oak door, with attention to clean gaps and smooth operation.

Hanging a solid door well is about the opening as much as the door. The frame is checked for square, the door is trimmed on the right edges, and the hinges are recessed so the gaps stay even from top to bottom. Handles and latches are lined up so the door closes cleanly, and any architrave or panelling around it is made good to match.

Carpentry
Landscaped garden with lawn and paving

Garden refresh

A straightforward outdoor improvement with new fencing, lawn, borders and a practical paved route.

Garden work of this kind begins with clearing the ground and taking green waste away. Fence posts are set first so panels stand straight, then paths or paving go down on a proper base. The lawn is levelled and turfed or tidied, borders are edged, and the whole garden is left clean, with every part sized to suit a modest domestic plot.

Landscaping

Finished interior

Smooth walls, fresh woodwork and flooring brought together for a calm, complete room.

Bringing a room together usually means working in the right order. Walls are repaired and prepared, old skirting and trim are replaced where needed, and the new floor goes down before the final woodwork is fitted over its edge. Doors are trimmed to suit the new floor height, and the finished room is checked through with you before the dust sheets come up.

Common questions

Questions about projects

Right-sized residential work that suits one tradesman and a van: a bathroom, a room, a garden or a list of repairs.

No. Whole house rebuilds and extensions are better placed with a larger firm. Room by room work suits the service best.

Yes. Each project type links to its service page, which explains how that work is carried out.
